Kelly Rutherford is such a stylish mama - having kids has not diminished her elegant-casual style one bit! And she always has the knack for adding a killer handbag to complete her outfit! Man, even grocery shopping she looks fabulous!
Now here's the exciting news: Kelly is launching her own handbag line and its debuting in February on QVC! (Feb 25th at 8pm to be exact!)
These are totally gorgeous bags -The Kelly Dome Satchel (top and bottom pic) is perfect for a busy mom on the go. (Meaning super chic and stylish, but still has room for diapers!) I also love the Kelly Evening Clutch - how fun for a date night! Elegant and trendy, but still a total classic!
What do you think of the bags? Will you be tuning in?
As a followup to our original camera bag find, I couldn't help but scour the internet (for hours I tell you) looking for more options. As a part-time photographer, I regularly rock this beaut:
Which my husband bought for me...and it is amazing. Especially for weddings/photo sessions because you can hold EVERYTHING in it and the sling back makes it easy to access your camera and lenses at a moments notice. But let's be honest, it's not very practically to be hauling around when we're exploring our own town or playing tourist elsewhere.
This is where fabulous, lady-friendly camera bags come into play! So many options, so many colors, so little time to convince Husband that I need them all!
1) My personal favorite and coveted bag, JoTotes! Each bag is water-resistant and has 1/2 inch foam sewn in to protect your precious cargo. The splashy inside fabrics are what get me. JoTotes range from $89-$94.
2) A flashback to our original post, Epiphanie bags are to die for. I love the braided detailing on the new Clover bag...and the bright pop of color! You can even carry your laptop AND your camera in this bag at the same time! Style and function. This bag runs for $184.
3) And happiness can be found at Kelly Moore. Stylish, classic designs in gorgeous colors. Need I say more? I'm completely coveting this mustard hobo, complete with two movable padded sections inside for flexible storing. Kelly Moore bags range from $159 to $249.
4) For your longer days playing tourist, an Emera bag is perfect. Plenty of room in this tote for your camera, lenses and all your purse needs! You just have to decide between the quilted or classic canvas versions! Both are $169.
5) If you're looking for a more neutral option, this jill e bone and black bag is sure to be a good splurge. Water resistant leather, a shoulder strap option and plenty of pockets for all your accessories. At $239 it's a bit more money, but will last you for years.
So there you have it! Style and function all wrapped up in one. Which one is your favorite? Any tips on convince my husband that I'm in desperate need of one of those beauties above?
Other than that gorgeous 4-carat diamond on her finger, Reese's raspberry scarf is stealing the show in this ensemble. While wearing black head-to-toe can look depressing, Reese's bright scarf adds a cheerful pop of color to this outfit.
To get her look for less, throw on your favorite shirt, pants and boots (all black of course) and add a brightly-colored scarf as the finishing touch. Here's some similar in color to Reese's:
I LOVE this trend! Infinity scarves give you all the style of a scarf without getting in your way. I love scarves, but whenever I lean over to load the dishwasher or anything, they unravel... annoying! Here are a few of my favorites:
***THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED, CONGRATS TO RHIANNA!***
I have a confession: I have an unhealthy obsession with headbands. I think it stems from having an odd shaped head and not being able to wear them as a child...until I learned to properly tease my hair so they look fantastic. Now, I can't get enough of them.
So imagine how thrilled I was when I was the lucky blogger picked to receive a Gleeful Peacock headband in a giveaway last year! Seriously, remember these fashion friday photos? I LOVE this headband.
Seriously, I am smitten with Gleeful Peacock headbands, just look at how gorgeous!
And for those of you who may not be headband wearers, Gleeful Peacock has necklaces, bracelets and hair accessories galore. Let's meet Nikki, the amazing designer behind the Gleeful Peacock shop!
I am a mom to one fabulously funky little girl, a wife, a full-time employee, a friend, a daughter and a new business owner. But the one thread that runs through all aspects of my life and defines me in every title is that I am an artist. Wow, that feels good to actually write. I think I have always been a creative soul. Although, it is just recently that I dared call myself an artist. It has always seemed like such an elusive and strong statement to make about oneself. Almost a declaration of what you are to your core.
Why did you start Gleeful Peacock?
I don’t know when it happened, but slowly over time I realized I was the only one that could decide if I was an artist and if I deserved the title. I decided that if I was not yet an artist, then I need to live as one. Aristotle said ‘We are what we repeatedly do’. If you want to be an artist, do artistic and creative acts. With this in mind, I set out to start my own business and I created Gleeful Peacock.
I have to know the story behind your store name!
The name symbolizes my two main goals, to be colorful and happy. Although my shop may not have paintings for your wall, it all comes from my creative energy and to me it is wearable art. I love to create pieces with meaning, symbolism or a specific inspiration.
I believe with every part of me that the world can be a more beautiful and happier place if we were all to release into the world the beauty that lies within us.
And now, the part you've all been waiting for...drumroll...Nikki has graciously offered to giveaway one of her amazing headbands to a bStylish reader! This headband to be exact:
I apologize for the photo, having computer issues so had to use my phone. I can assure you though, it is mustardy yellow, white and rust and fabulous in person. You will LOOOOOVE it!

This holiday season, TJ Maxx/Marshalls hosted a blogger Secret Santa exchange. What a fun idea! Our challenge was to go to TJ Maxx/Marshalls and spend $50 on our secret santa! It was a rough assignment to have to go shopping... but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make to bring my secret santa a bit of holiday cheer!
I picked up this gorgeous leather laptop case and cashmere Fair Isle gloves for my secret santa! I'm so annoyed I forgot to take a picture of the inside of the bag - it had the coolest lining! I wrapped it up and sent it off in the mail:
And today, my secret santa gift arrived! My secret santa turned out to be the amazing and talented Jenni Rodosevich of Daily Work It and I-SPY DIY. You may recognize her from her spread in a little fashion mag called InStyle in September! (I totally remember loving that article! I looked in my copy and I have a little bookmark on that page to go back and try her projects!) Look at how cute she even made the box:
Inside I found a sweet note, a pair of fabulous Cynthia Rowley gloves, a copy of InStyle's Beauty Secrets and a GORGEOUS handbag by Steve Madden... with ruffles! Somehow she got the impression that I love ruffles. Imagine that!
This was such a super fun project - I hope that your fabulously fashionable bargains at T.J. Maxx and Marshalls are just as spectacular this holiday! (Mine sure were! Major scores, but I can't tell you about them until after certain readers open their gifts ;-)
disclosure: i received a gift card to shop for my secret santa courtesy of tjmaxx/marshalls.
After searching the store to make sure I chose the perfect gift, I decided on this necklace and bracelet.. hope she likes it!
My Secret Santa, Whitney of Mommies with Style, gifted me a beautiful candle and a silver strand to add to my jewelry case.

When Adam proposed about a year and a half ago, my mind went into full wedding planning mode. I didn't exactly have every detail planned out, but I knew that I wanted my bridesmaids in simple black dresses wearing a three strand pearl bracelet. Oh and pink shoes. Cause every wedding needs pink shoes.
Fast forward to two months before the wedding. I'm curled up on the couch, crouched over my computer, fingers cramping from hours upon hours of scouring the internet for these perfect bracelets [on a budget]. Nothing. Until I happened upon sweet Lauren's shop on Etsy.
And she practically saved my wedding with that. Or at least my dream of gifting my bridesmaids with gorgeous three strand pearl bracelets [on a budget]!
Enter, Bold Rocks. Lauren's pride and joy. Where she makes the most fabulous jewelry out of cultured freshwater pearls. Not only did she create these pieces for my wedding:
BUT she created my dream bracelets and I loved them SO much that I even wore one too!
Sigh, enough wedding reminiscing, let's meet Lauren, the inspiring designer of Bold Rocks!
Hi everyone, my name is Lauren, I am 28 years old, recently engaged, and about to complete my J.D. and M.S. in Finance. I started making jewelry when I was a child and have been doing it ever since. Every year around the holidaze I would make jewelry for my family and friends. During my first year of graduate school I decided to open my Etsy store.
I have to know, what's the story behind the store name?
I love big bold jewelry – which is where I got the idea for naming my store Bold Rocks.
What is the inspiration behind Bold Rocks?
I intended the store to be a place where I sold funky chunky stone jewelry. I stumbled into the pearl industry while traveling abroad and decided to add some pearl pieces to my repertoire. My most recent jewelry creations are made from sterling silver or gold fill components and cultured freshwater pearls. My pearl pieces were very popular with the bridal community so I decided to switch my focus to affordable pearl jewelry for weddings. I really enjoy working with brides to create timeless jewelry that they and their bridesmaids can wear for years to come.
Thanks Lauren! Not only does she create gorgeous affordable jewelry for brides and everyday life, but she is offering a 5% discount to bStylish readers through December 25th! Just enter bStylish in the message box when checking out!
That's right, we're giving away a 3 strand 4 mm purple black peacock twisted elegance necklace AND a One of a Kind - 3 strand golden bronze freshwater rice pearl and teal blue green potato freshwater pearl bracelet...meaning there are TWO winners!!

Vera Bradley has always been a favorite brand of mine. Their products are great quality, the patterns are stylish and fun, and they have something for just about everyone on your Christmas list.
These are some of my favorite gift ideas from Vera:1. Watch - $65 - I'm not much of a watch-wearing person, but one of my very best girlfriends is, and she SWEARS by the Vera watches. They come in many of the Vera colors, so there's really one for everyone's taste.
2. Curling Iron cover - $17 - Are you like me and find that you're rushing out of your hotel in order to make checkout by the skin of your teeth? And, of course, you've just finished curling/straightening your hair, so you can't just throw the curling/flat iron into your luggage. This cover is the perfect solution.
3. Mini Laptop Case - $48 - This little case is the coolest ever, not only is it perfect for a small laptop or a netbook, but friends, this case can hold the coveted iPad. Score!
4. All-in-One Wristlet - $32 - I have one of these and I have never owned a more versatile little wallet. It holds my cell phone, cash, cards, and change. And I can clip my keys to the outside. It's perfect for those crazy shopping trips when you want to keep everything close.
5. Baby Bag - $97 - Perfect for the soon-to-be-mama in your life. My bestie has a couple of these {what? you can't use the same one for both kids!} and loves them. The have a diaper-changing mat, tons of little pockets and lots of interior space. Great for a new or veteran mommy.
6. Weekender - $92 - I actually have two of these things. I LOVE them. Whenever my hubby and I get a way for a weekend, I take this along. It has lots of space on the inside and a bunch of pockets for toiletries and other various items.
7. Hard Eyeglass Case - $18 - Anyone who wears glasses knows how difficult it is to avoid stepping on them, smashing them, flushing them down the toilet, {i kid, i kid} or scraping them up. I've had a couple of these over the years and my glasses are never better protected when I'm actually using it.
8. Stationery - $29 - I know, this almost seems ancient, but I hear people still write letters to each other. If you're the letter-writing type, this stationery is just gorgeous.
Good stuff, huh? There's so much more; really there is. Go check out the Vera Bradleywebsite and look around. While you're there, perhaps you wouldn't mind purchasing a Christmas gift for me? How about my favorite Vera item this year? That would be splendid.
